Clarisse Marquis Colvard earned her Doctorate of Speech-Language Pathology in 2018. She has over 40 years' experience as a speech language pathologist. Clarisse developed the speech-language pathology program at Thomason Hospital in 1991 and in 1994 she founded the Silva Clinic, an outpatient clinical habilitation and rehabilitation center serving all ages and demographics. Clarisse and her colleagues continue to provide individualized speech-language pathology services which empower the patient and family and facilitate excellent patient outcomes.


Dr. Raul Herreras Mercado, ClinScD, CCC-SLP
Raul Herreras Mercado earned his Doctorate of Clinical Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology in 2017. He has been a speech language pathologist for over 15 years and has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, acute rehabilitation, outpatient, skilled nursing, schools and private practice. Raul was a senior lead speech-language pathologist in a hospital setting in Los Angeles and is currently a thesis content expert for doctoral students at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. He also worked in Cambodia to establish and develop a dysphagia program in three Phnom Penh hospitals.
