What is teletherapy?
Teletherapy is the delivery of medical (speech therapy) services using telecommunication technology. At Silva Clinic, we use a HIPAA compliant platform Zoom to provide therapy sessions.
What kind of technological resources do I need?
A computer, tablet, or mobile device that has a camera, microphone, and speakers will be needed. You will also need access to either WiFi or wired internet connection and a secure location from which you can “attend” your sessions. Headphones that have a microphone and speaker would work well if you do not have an integrated microphone and speakers on your device.
How do children learn over teletherapy?
Our therapist make learning fun by using different resources, such as a green screen , online games and parent involvement during the sessions. Depending on the child’s age a parent may need to be present to help, especially with technological issues.
I don’t live in the area, can I receive teletherapy services?
If you reside in Texas! ABSOLUTELY

Please reach out to us if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!
